About
Many Iranians in Australia want to support good work at home. Very few have a way to do it that they can trust.
Banking restrictions, complex sanctions rules and a lack of reporting mean that most gifts to Iran travel informally, with no record of where they end up. Chashmeh is a lawful, published route instead.
We are deliberately small. We support a short list of charities that we have checked ourselves, send their money on a fixed schedule, and publish every movement of it.
The idea is simple: you should be able to give, and then see for yourself that your gift arrived.
Principles
Every payment in and out is published, with its fees, on the day it happens.
We follow Australian charity, tax, sanctions and anti-money-laundering law, and work only with registered charities in Iran.
We support humanitarian work: health, education and relief. We take no political position.
Donor identities stay private. The ledger shows references, never names.
We are happy to talk.
