What we collect
Donors: name, email, billing country and the records of each payment. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe; Chashmeh never sees them.
Charity staff: name, email and the changes they make. People listed on a charity’s page are shown only as the charity and that person agreed.
Why
To process donations, send receipts, meet Australian record-keeping and anti-money-laundering obligations, and report publicly on where money went.
What is public
The ledger shows payment references, dates, amounts, fees and destinations, never names or contact details.
How long we keep it
Financial and identification records are kept for 7 years, as Australian law requires. You can delete your sign-in account at any time; payment records are then kept without a link to it.
Who we share it with
Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and email), and regulators when the law requires. Charities see only totals, never who gave.
Cookies
Only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
